The Founder presents a 30-piece collection, designed in collaboration with the eponymous founder, Karen Millen.
“With a twenty-year absence from the fashion industry, I was hungry to dive back in and being back at Karen Millen was the obvious thing to do really. It feels so natural and almost effortless, as I guess I know it so well and the timing just felt right somehow.”
A nod to the evolution of the Karen Millen brand from its conception in 1981 to today, the collection features everything from the classic white shirt – the very beginning of the KM story – to modern, colour pop tailoring.
“I have to admit I was a little nervous about coming back into the fold, not knowing what to expect, or more importantly, the pressure of producing a collection that I could be proud of, but the team have been brilliant, it’s been a lot of fun and I feel really energised - I realise just how much I’ve missed it”.
A full-circle moment that celebrates the brand's incredible story, these designs speak to the all-important everlasting values of outfitting the power femme, be it for sartorial work-to-weekend dressing, or a special occasion.
